About Verity
Built by someone who needed it.

Jacob Reed is a self-taught developer and founder of Reed Legacy Group, based in Bossier City, Louisiana.
For most of his adult life, Jacob worked in construction — physical work, demanding environments, and the kind of experience that teaches you quickly that not everyone around you has your best interests at heart. After investing deeply in relationships that cost him more than he expected, he started asking a question he couldn't find a good answer to anywhere: Is there a way to actually see the patterns in how someone communicates — not just feel them?
That question became Clarity, a behavioral forensics app built on a 79-module detection engine drawing on Gottman methodology, DSM-5 AMPD frameworks, DARVO research, and attachment theory. In building that engine, Jacob realized the same technology that helped everyday people understand their relationships could generate something far more structured and court-applicable for legal professionals.
That realization became Verity.
Jacob built Verity specifically because he couldn't find anything that did what family law cases actually needed: a reproducible, citation-backed forensic analysis of communication patterns that could withstand evidentiary scrutiny. Every pattern Verity detects is mapped to peer-reviewed clinical literature. The methodology was written to FRE 702 admissibility standards from the ground up.
“I built Clarity because I know what it's like to not see something clearly until it's too late. I built Verity because attorneys deserve a tool that helps them show what their clients already know — documented, organized, and defensible.”
Built on verifiable science
Every behavioral pattern Verity detects is grounded in peer-reviewed clinical research and mapped to established forensic frameworks. The full methodology is publicly available.
