Is my conversation data uploaded anywhere?
No. Parsing and analysis run entirely in your browser. Conversation message content is never sent to a server — only metadata (like case ID and health score) is used for the parts of the app that need it, such as payment.
What chat export formats does Verity support?
WhatsApp, iMessage, SMS/Android backups, Facebook Messenger, Instagram, Telegram, Google Messages, Discord, Snapchat, GroupMe, Gmail (a Google Takeout mailbox), and the PDF records from OurFamilyWizard and TalkingParents.
How long does the analysis take?
Minutes. Upload your export, and the report — including the health score and full pattern breakdown — is generated in your browser right away.
Do I need to create an account?
No account is required for a one-time Standard or Forensic report. An account is only needed for the attorney Pro portal, which manages multiple cases over time.
What's the difference between the Standard and Forensic report?
Standard ($99) includes the pattern detection report, health score, and flagged message log. Forensic ($149) adds clinical citations and a methodology appendix, and is recommended when the report may be used in a legal proceeding.
Is Verity a law firm or a substitute for legal advice?
No. Verity is a forensic analysis tool, not a law firm. Reports identify statistical communication patterns and are supporting documentation — not a substitute for legal advice, expert witness testimony, or clinical diagnosis.
