Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect

Conversation data: When you upload a chat export for analysis, it is processed entirely in your browser. Conversation content is never transmitted to our servers or stored in any database.

Account data: For Pro accounts, we store your email address, firm name, and subscription status in Supabase.

Report data: Pro-tier forensic reports are stored in Supabase associated with your account. Case metadata (client name, health score, patterns detected) is stored to power your dashboard.

Payment data: Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We never store card numbers or full payment details.

Analytics: We use Google Analytics 4, TikTok Pixel, and Meta Pixel for aggregate usage analytics. These tools may set cookies. No conversation content is included in analytics events.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To provide and improve the Verity service
• To manage your Pro subscription and process payments
• To send transactional emails (report delivery, subscription confirmations)
• For aggregate analytics to understand how our platform is used

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your case data to train AI models.

3. Data Security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+). Pro data is stored in Supabase with row-level security — each attorney can only access their own cases. Access tokens for client portals are single-use-derived and lifetime-scoped to a specific case.

4. Data Retention

Consumer reports (no account) are generated in-browser and never stored on our servers. Pro accounts retain case data until the attorney deletes it or the account is closed. You can configure a retention reminder period in your dashboard settings.

5. Your Rights

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing jake@getverity.report. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

EU/UK residents have additional rights under GDPR/UK GDPR including right of access, rectification, restriction, and portability. Contact us to exercise these rights.

6. Cookies

We use cookies for authentication (Supabase session), analytics (GA4, TikTok Pixel, Meta Pixel), and Stripe payment processing. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings.
