CoParenter vs. Verity
CoParenter sits in the same category as OurFamilyWizard and TalkingParents — a court-monitored platform you communicate through, going forward. Verity solves a different problem: it analyzes the conversation you and your co-parent already had, on whatever app you were already using, for patterns a judge, attorney, or GAL would actually want to see documented.
1.What each one is actually built to do
CoParenter
A live communication platform. You and your co-parent conduct conversations inside CoParenter itself, with built-in language filters, focused chat topics, a shared color-coded calendar for exchanges and swap requests, and mediation on demand from a professional mediator when a conversation escalates.
Verity
Analysis only, and retrospective. Verity isn’t a place to talk to your co-parent — you export a conversation that already happened, from whatever app you already use, and upload it for a behavioral pattern analysis and health score.
2.When each one is actually useful
CoParenter
Going forward, once both parents have switched to it. It has nothing to say about the years of texts, WhatsApp threads, or Messenger DMs a case usually already has before anyone thought to formalize how they communicate.
Verity
Built for exactly the history CoParenter can’t touch — the existing thread on whatever platform you and your co-parent already use, including everything that happened before this case started thinking about evidence at all.
3.How the record is generated
CoParenter
CoParenter generates the record itself — conversations inside the app are time-stamped and non-editable, and mediator-documented resolutions can be exported as records the platform describes as court-admissible.
Verity

CoParenter

Verity
No mediation feature, and no live communication channel at all. Verity has nothing to offer while a conversation is happening — it’s a pattern-analysis tool applied after the fact, showing what a conversation history actually looks like over time.
5.What adoption actually requires
CoParenter
Value depends on both parents actually using it. A lot of high-conflict cases feature exactly the parent who won’t move off ordinary texting — which limits how much of the case a switch to CoParenter can cover.
Verity
No adoption required from the other parent. Verity works on a conversation that already happened, wherever it happened, so a court order mandating a specific app — or the other parent’s cooperation — isn’t a prerequisite.
Not really competitors — different points in the case
CoParenter and Verity aren't solving the same problem, and a lot of cases could reasonably use both.
