Chronodocs vs. Verity

Short answer

Chronodocs is a case timeline you build: you log each event, attach screenshots, texts, emails or photos, label it, and export a PDF, from $7 a month. Verity reads a whole exported conversation for you in your browser, numbers every message and flags patterns, for a one-time price. Chronodocs organizes everything that happens; Verity does the heavy lifting on the texts. They can be used together.

Both are built for parents in high-conflict custody cases who need to show a judge what has been happening. The difference is who does the sorting: you, event by event, or the tool, across the whole conversation at once.

1.What each one is built to do

Chronodocs

Keep a dated case timeline for a high-conflict family matter. You add events, attach evidence, label them (for example "Denied visit"), highlight key lines, and filter by label to show a pattern.

Verity

Read one whole conversation for you: every message numbered in date order, and the patterns across months of messages with each flagged message quoted and dated.

2.How evidence gets in

Chronodocs

You add each event yourself and attach screenshots, texts, emails, photos or PDFs to it. It works for any kind of evidence, not only messages.

Verity

Upload the app’s export of the conversation (iPhone, Android, WhatsApp, Facebook, OurFamilyWizard, TalkingParents and more), or pick screenshots. Nothing to type in.

3.Where your files go

Chronodocs

Its security page says data is stored on Google Cloud in U.S. data centers, encrypted, and not used to train AI; a Pro plan option keeps data on your device instead.

Verity

The file is read and analyzed in your browser. The messages are not uploaded, including when you buy.

4.What you get back

Chronodocs

A searchable, labeled timeline you can share with your lawyer, and a PDF export for mediation or court.

Verity

A free on-screen preview. Paid PDFs: a numbered list of every message in date order, and reports quoting the flagged messages with their dates.

5.Price

Chronodocs

Free to start; paid plans from $7 a month.

Verity

Free preview. One-time: $19 numbered message list, $99 Standard report, $149 Detailed report. No subscription.

6.Who is behind it

Chronodocs

Recommended by the family law attorney behind the Family Law, Explained videos; its Parents Academy guides are by a Texas board-certified family law attorney.

Verity

Built by Jacob Reed. Verity is not a law firm, and its reports are supporting documentation, not a legal finding.

Which one fits your situation?

If your evidence is a mix of missed exchanges, school emails, photos and messages, and you want one place to log it as it happens, a timeline app like Chronodocs suits that. If the core of it is months or years of texts and you don't want to screenshot and label them one by one, Verity reads the export and numbers every message, and that PDF can be attached to a timeline entry or handed to your lawyer directly. If you are in danger now, call 911. The National Domestic Violence Hotline is 1-800-799-7233, or text START to 88788.

This is general information, not legal advice, and Verity is not a law firm. We make Verity. Chronodocs' features, price and data handling are as its own site described them on October 20, 2026, and can change; check chronodocs.com before relying on them.
