Free Text Message Analyzer: What You Can Check Without Paying

Short answer
Verity's checks are free up to the point of a printed report. Paste a few messages into the free text check to see which match patterns like threats, gaslighting or blame-shifting, with a calm reply suggested for each. Drop in a whole exported conversation for a free preview: a score, the patterns found, one flagged message in full, the healthy patterns, and every message numbered in date order to read on screen. All of it runs in your browser; nothing is uploaded. Paying ($19, $99 or $149) gets you a PDF.
Free should mean useful, not a teaser. Here is exactly what each free tool does, and where the limits are.
1. The free text check: a few messages
On the free text check, paste messages as plain lines, "Name: text" lines or lines copied from WhatsApp, up to 300 of them. Pick whose messages to check, and each one is compared against the same phrase lists the full analysis uses, with the matching words marked. You can add an on-device meaning check, read up to ten chat screenshots, or switch to "My draft" to check your own reply before you send it. Pasted text has no dates, so there is no score and no timing patterns.
2. The free preview: a whole conversation
Export the conversation from your phone or app (steps in how to export your texts) and drop in the file. The preview shows a health score, the warning patterns and the healthy ones, one flagged message in full with its date, who starts conversations and how fast each of you replies, and a private check of your own side.
3. Free: read every message, numbered
From the preview, you can read the whole conversation on screen, numbered in date order the way the printed list numbers it, and search it. Reading is free; the printable PDF is the $19 numbered list.
4. Free: is your record ready for court?
The readiness check asks eight questions about how your messages are saved (a copy off the phone, an export rather than only screenshots, dates, numbering) and gives you a fix list. No file needed.
What paying adds
- $19: the numbered message list as a PDF, every message with its date and time.
- $99 Standard: a report quoting up to 20 flagged messages, each with the messages around it and its number.
- $149 Detailed: every flagged message, with the research each pattern comes from.

What stays on your device
Every free tool reads your messages in your browser. The conversation is not uploaded, and once the page has loaded the check works with the internet switched off; you can test that yourself, as the security page explains.
What any analyzer can't do
A check reads words and timing. It misses some messages, flags some ordinary ones, and can't say what anyone meant or diagnose anyone. Our methodology page publishes how often Verity gets it wrong. Other tools are compared in apps that check text messages for manipulation.
