Comparison

Wizard Lens vs. Verity

Reviewed by Jacob Reed, founder of Verity ·

Short answer

Wizard Lens is an independent companion to OurFamilyWizard: you upload your OurFamilyWizard records to its workspace, and AI tags each message for tone, charts response times and lets you search and export numbered exhibits, for $79 a month. Verity reads OurFamilyWizard records and other apps' exports in your browser, without uploading them, and gives you a dated record for one-time prices. Wizard Lens goes deeper on OurFamilyWizard; Verity covers texts sent anywhere else too.

Many co-parents are ordered onto OurFamilyWizard, but the history that matters often started in texts or WhatsApp before that. Which tool fits depends on where your messages are and where you want them to go.

1.What each one is built to do

Wizard Lens

Make OurFamilyWizard records searchable and analyzable. AI tags every message on seven dimensions (hostile, accusatory, stonewalling, controlling, urgent, child-focused, cooperative); charts show message volume, response times, silence streaks and after-hours messages; both parents are compared side by side; and you can pin messages to evidence boards.

Verity

Organize a whole conversation from any app for a lawyer or a hearing: the patterns across months of messages, each flagged message quoted with its date, and a numbered list of every message.

2.What it reads

Wizard Lens

OurFamilyWizard PDF exports, plus optional OurFamilyWizard journal and calendar data. Its site does not mention texts or other apps.

Verity

OurFamilyWizard and TalkingParents PDF records, and exports from WhatsApp, iPhone, Android, Messenger, Instagram, Gmail and more, or screenshots, so texts sent outside OurFamilyWizard can be read too.

3.Where your messages go

Wizard Lens

Uploaded to your Wizard Lens workspace. Its privacy policy says message fields are encrypted at rest, that relevant excerpts may be sent to a third-party AI provider for search and analysis, that uploaded messages are not used to train third-party AI models, and that content is kept while your account is active and deleted on request.

Verity

The file is read and analyzed in your browser. The messages are not uploaded, including when you buy. No account.

4.What you get back

Wizard Lens

A searchable workspace with plain-English search, tone filters and charts, and a PDF of original messages numbered as exhibits with date, sender and recipient; AI tone labels and private notes are left out of it.

Verity

A free on-screen preview with the patterns found, one flagged message in full and every message readable on screen. Paid PDFs: a numbered list of every message in date order, and reports quoting the flagged messages with their dates.

5.Working with your lawyer

Wizard Lens

You can invite an attorney, paralegal or mediator to a scoped view. Professional accounts are free for reviewing cases a client shares.

Verity

You hand your lawyer the PDFs. Attorneys who want to run cases themselves can use Verity Pro.

6.Price

Wizard Lens

$79 a month, or $600 a year. A 7-day trial needs a card.

Verity

Free preview. One-time: $19 numbered message list, $99 Standard report, $149 Detailed report. No subscription.

Which one fits your situation?

If everything is on OurFamilyWizard, you expect the case to run for months, and you want an ongoing workspace your attorney can log into, Wizard Lens is built for exactly that. If some of the history is in texts, WhatsApp or email, if you would rather the messages never leave your device, or if you want one record without a subscription, Verity fits better. Either way, start with the OurFamilyWizard record itself: our guide shows how to download an OurFamilyWizard message report, and what its first-viewed timestamps mean.

Whichever you use, read what it flags yourself. Tone tags and pattern flags read words, not people; our own testing found that much real abuse is worded in ways a pattern check misses, and the methodology page has the numbers. For the wider field, see AI that reads co-parent texts for court.

This is general information, not legal advice, and Verity is not a law firm. We make Verity, so weigh what we say about it accordingly. Wizard Lens is not affiliated with OurFamilyWizard, and neither is Verity. Wizard Lens's features, prices and data handling are as its own site and privacy policy (effective October 10, 2026) described them on October 22, 2026, and can change; check wizardlens.ai before relying on them.
